September Education Seminar

Our September Education Seminar will be held on September 9th, 2024 from 5pm - 8pm.There will be a Business expo before our featured speakers and during the break.

Alex Kohls of the Small Business Administration and Erik Collins of the City of Centerville will be our featured speakers and will provide information to our members about the State and Local services available to small business owners. They will briefly discuss resources available and ways to grow your business at the State and Local level!

Please complete the below-linked application if you would like to participate in the business expo. We are seeking businesses from our membership to showcase how their services can help our members with financial services; accounting; investments; savings and business growth; insurance; employee benefits; and/or training. To participate in the business expo, your business must provide services in one of the above categories. Applicants must be current HOCWT members to apply. This seminar will be very similar to the social media educational event last fall. The business expo fee is an additional $10.00.

We are also seeking 4 small table presenters from our membership for the seminar. Small table presenters will offer small round table break-out sessions on specific topics. As a presenter, you would be expected to speak about a topic related to business strategy, finances, insurance, investing, accounting, benefits, and/or training for approximately 10 minutes, and then answer questions on that topic. You must indicate that topic and your expertise as part of this application.
